Join us to learn about bats from around the world as well as our own special microbats!

Presenter Dennis Matthews will talk to us about world bats, Australian and South Australian bats, species, conservation, survey techniques, species distribution in SA and in particular how we identify bats from calls with detectors.

Dennis will also bring some bat boxes and talk about their use by bats and how easy they are to make.

There will also be an opportunity for those who wish to walk with some bat detectors and spotlights – should be easy to hear and hopefully see some flying bats.
